INTRODUCTION
one of my favorite bands is the black eyed peas. there are four members of the band. the lead singer's name is fergie but may fovorite member of the band is will.i.am. their last cd was called " the biginning ". it was great! my fovorite track was "the time".

Black Eyed Peas is a hip hop Grammy winner, formed in Los Angeles, California in 1995. The group is composed of Will.I.Am, Apl.de.ap, Taboo,and Fergie. Since her third album Elephunk in 2003, the group sold over 29 million albums and41 million singles. His first hit number one in the world was "Where Is the Love?" in 2003. Anothersingle that reached No. 1 on European charts, was"Shut Up ". The group's next album, MonkeyBusiness was another success, certified 3xPlatinum in the United States, with singles like "MyHumps, " "Do not Phunk With My Heart" and"Pump It ".
In 2009, the group joined the list of eleven groupsthat had two singles simultaneously in the top of theBillboard Hot 100, "Boom Boom Pow" and "I GottaFeeling ", released the album The END, andremained atop the singles for 26 consecutive weeks in 2009. The album also had a third singlein the top of the Hot 100, "Imma Be. " The albumalso contains the songs "Meet Me Halfway, ""Imma Be, " "Rock That Body", "Missing You"and"Alive.

The second album band,Bridging the Gap, was released in 2000 and reached a peak of sixty-seven in the U.S. andreached the highest position in New Zealand, withthe number eighteen.
